Who runs SPRAWNO

SPRAWNO sp. z o.o. is run by its three co-owners. We want the same things: a date we can actually keep, the parts already there when the car comes in, and the customer knowing the price before the work starts.

Managing Director

Company development, service range, business customers

An entrepreneur and manager, he has worked in the automotive sector since 2023. He has hands-on experience of building and running vehicle fleets, car rental, and passenger transport operations working with Uber and Bolt.

As Managing Director of Kalisand sp. z o.o., he runs a taxi fleet of more than 50 cars and a team of drivers and contractors. He is responsible for growing the business, recruitment, day-to-day operations, servicing the fleet and keeping the vehicles in full working order. He also runs a separate business specialising in car rental and long-term hire.

Holds an engineering degree in logistics from Lublin.

Fifty cars in constant use means inspections, brakes, tyres and breakdowns every day — and it means dealing with the workshops that do that work, from the customer's side of the counter, waiting for a slot. That is where the idea for SPRAWNO came from. Here he is responsible for the company's growth, the range of services and the price list, recruitment and business customers.

Workshop operations

An operations manager with a background in organising the work of teams, standardising procedures and quality control. He has worked in Poznań since 2018.

He spent more than five years at a recruitment group, moving from specialist to project manager to regional manager. He coordinated teams of over 150 people and standardised the onboarding of new starters joining at 15–20 a week. He also rolled out a system in which every assignment has a status of its own and the monthly reconciliation is produced automatically rather than by hand.

Holds a bachelor's degree from Poznań.

At SPRAWNO he is responsible for how the workshop runs: booking cars in and handing them back, bay planning, ordering parts, running the parts store, and keeping to the dates we agree. He is also responsible for checking the car over before it goes back and for making sure every repair is documented. Technical decisions remain with the mechanic.

Systems and online customer service

A software engineer, programming professionally since 2006. He leads a team of developers building platforms for business clients. His work has included subscription-based booking and customer-service platforms, and form systems built to HIPAA, the American rules on protecting medical data.

He is responsible for architecture, security and maintenance — from design, through rollout, to keeping the systems running day to day. He holds the iSAQB CPSA software architect certification.

Holds a master's degree in IT project management.

At SPRAWNO he is responsible for the website, online booking and their connection to the system the workshop uses to manage its jobs. The aim is to bring the workshop up to standards that other industries take for granted and this one still does not: the owner having access to the full history of their car, and a company being able to see its whole fleet — whenever they need it.

Three trades, one workshop

Each of us runs his own area and knows it inside out. One manages a fleet and knows what it really costs to keep a car in constant use. Another can plan the work of several dozen people and stand behind the date. The third builds the systems that hold it together.

That is why we take on the things a small workshop usually leaves for later: the whole price list is published, a visit can be booked online at any time of day, and the scope of each service is described so that it is clear what it covers. The same rule applies out in the bays: whatever can be described, measured and recorded is described, measured and recorded.

What we want to build

The direction we are taking the workshop in. Tools like these are rarely available at independent workshops.

  • Vehicle recordThe history of one particular car in one place: what was done, what was replaced, what the readings were, what was recommended and by when, with photos from the workshop. A bit like a set of medical test results, only for a car — the owner gets a documented account of the condition of their car and takes it with them, including when the time comes to sell it.
  • Dashboard for companies and fleetsOne place where a company can see all of its vehicles at once: what is in for service, what is waiting for a slot, what each car has cost over the month and which are coming up for their technical inspection. Instead of phoning to ask.
