About the service
Ozone treatment neutralises unpleasant odours and freshens the cabin — ozone reaches the upholstery, headliner and ventilation ducts where cleaning can't. It works well after buying a used car, for cigarette smells and after carrying pets. We don't promise to kill germs: according to the US EPA, ozone at concentrations safe for people does not effectively remove mould or bacteria, and a musty smell from the vents usually needs the evaporator cleaned. What the service includes
- Ozone treatment of the whole interior with an ozone generator — dashboard, upholstery, headliner and boot
- Ozone treatment of the ventilation ducts along with the whole cabin — the treatment does not replace an air-conditioning service or evaporator cleaning
- Neutralising odours: cigarette smoke, pets, sweat, food; a damp or post-flood smell only once the source has been removed and dried
- A controlled cycle in a closed, empty cabin — no people or pets in the car during the treatment
- Initial airing and preparation of the cabin before the treatment
- Cabin filter check and a recommendation to replace it when it's dirty
- A dry treatment — no liquids or products applied to surfaces
- Airing the cabin after the treatment and a short briefing — when it's safe to get back in the car

Prices include VAT and cover labour and standard products. We inspect the car before the service, and any surcharge is agreed with you before the extra work is done.

- Request. Choose the service and a time online, or call us. It is a request — we call back to confirm the time.
- Quote. At the workshop we look at the car and confirm the scope and price before any work starts.
- Extra work. If it turns out more is needed, we tell you the cost first — extra work and surcharges only go ahead with your consent.
- Time. Typically, per the price list: Interior ozone treatment — 45–90 min; Cigarette odour neutralisation — 3–6 h.
- Payment. Cash, card, BLIK, or bank transfer. VAT invoice for companies.

How much does car ozone treatment cost?
Interior ozone treatment at SPRAWNO costs 100 zł. A stubborn cigarette smell needs a separate neutralisation from 299 zł — we tell you whether it is needed before we start, with no surprises. Call: 500 272 005.
How long does ozone treatment take?
The treatment itself usually takes 30–60 minutes plus airing. In practice we hand the car back the same day, often within an hour. For strong, ingrained odours we extend or repeat the cycle — we agree this with you in advance.
Do I need to book?
Yes, it's worth it — call 500 272 005 or drop by our workshop. That way we'll take you in without waiting and get the bay ready. We serve Starołęka, Minikowo, Marlewo, Krzesiny and the rest of Poznań.
Does ozone treatment remove cigarette and pet smells?
Yes. Ozone reaches the upholstery, headliner and ventilation ducts and neutralises the smell where it clings, instead of masking it. It does not remove the source itself, though: for deeply ingrained smells we clean the upholstery by extraction first and ozone-treat afterwards — only then does the result last.
Is ozone treatment safe?
Provided it is done properly. Ozone irritates the eyes and airways, so: no people or pets stay in the car during the treatment, the cycle is controlled, and afterwards we air out the cabin — you only get in once the ozone smell is gone. We don't recommend ozone-treating a car with a home generator by guesswork.
Will ozone treatment remove every smell?
Not every one, and we do not promise that. Ozone neutralises what is hanging in the cabin and the ventilation ducts, but it does not replace removing the source: with old, ingrained odours, stains and discolouration a complete result cannot be guaranteed. When the cause is deeper — flooding, soaked upholstery — we tell you straight before the treatment and suggest a more effective plan, usually extraction cleaning of the upholstery first. An honest quote is standard with us.
